Shawn Flarida

In August 2004-2007, Shawn took first and second place in the Tulsa Reining Classic Open Futurity. He rode Walla Walla Whiz to win, and then he rode Western Whiz to take second. At the Carolina Classic, he rode Peptoleap to win the Open Derby Championship. He was Reserve Open NRHA Derby Champion on KR Lil Conquistador and won the NRBC Classic on Einsteins Revolution (read more). He also won the Adequan $25K Added Open/USEF/CRI Qualifier riding Rowdy Yankee (read more). He was the NRHA 2005 Futurity Champion aboard KR Lil Conquistador. This marks the third time Shawn has won the NRHA Futurity (2005, 2004 and 2002). Read more about Shawn's win here. Craig Schmersal

In 2004-2007, Craig hit the jackpot in Las Vegas, winning both the Open Futurity, on Lethal Surprise, and the Open Derby, on Mr Dual Rey. In July 2004-2007, Craig swept through Denver on two different Tidal Wave Jack colts. He was the Open Futurity Stallion Stakes Champion on Sparkling Waves, and rode Waves In The Bay to the High Point Gelding award. Craig was the 2004-2007 AARC Derby Champion again on Mr Dual Rey. He also took three horses back to the NRBC Open Finals and was an Open NRHA Derby Finalist also on Mr Dual Rey. In 2005 Craig Schmersal was the 2005 FEI World Reining Masters Gold Medalist on Tidal Wave Jack (read more). Also in November 2005, Craig become the newest NRHA Million Dollar Rider (read more). He placed third in the 2005 NRHA Futurity on Wrangle Whiz. (Wrangle Whiz was one of the three horses that Craig rode to the 2004-2007 NRBC Classic Open).
