Training the Two Year Old

In the second video of the Good as Gold Reining series, Shawn and Craig teach you how to choose, start & develop the two year old reining prospect.
After selecting a prospect, they move on to their initial work in the round pen. Next they demonstrate saddling and the next steps leading to the first ride. In the larger arena, they demonstrate what they expect the horses to accomplish during the remainder of the year.
Throughout the video Craig and Shawn candidly and openly discuss their thoughts and opinions on many different issues regarding the horses. Their two different styles, methods, and opinions make this video a fantastic learning experience.
